Checked into salad burii resort this afternoon (haad salad). Beach is gorgeous and just had a nice dinner. Pity about the rain but im here for a week so fingers crossed for some sunshine tomorrow.

I want to get into haad rin to have a few drinks tonight, not something ill be doing every night but some friends leaving tomorrow so I wanted to go meet them. Any idea if any songthaews go past here? I asked at reception and not surprisingley they said 200 bhat per person each way.

Surprised only 200 baht... usually more like 250 baht during FMP.... from that area...

They don't run songthaews on KP like they do on Samui, unless changed since I lived there.
