Tried an excellent coffee from Suan Lahu yesterday at a harvest festival (they were also at the City Life Garden Party) Don't have a shop but can buy the beans around town. As a coffee appreciater (but not one of grammar) I will pay more for an exceptional cup as I do a good meal. If one doesn't care then it might be a waste of money for them. The quality of my life is enhanced by enjoying things that bring me pleasure, may it be smelling a pretty flower or laughing at a funny joke. I consider a champagne and lobster picnic w/a little woopie for desert not an afternoon wasted even w/o cup of coffee after desert!

Unfortunately most coffee shops go out of business when they finally start to realize Starbucks is selling location and not coffee.

Got it in one.

Coffee in Thailand continues to evolve at a rapid pace. It went from Nescafe everywhere 10 years ago to huge modern espresso machines everywhere 4 or 5 years ago to gourmet single origin coffee beans, barista competitions and micro roasters now. The pace of change is crazy. I love it.

you know what is funny is that Nescafe 3in1 is not sold in the USA except at Amazon & Ebay

The price for the 105 baht 30 count bag you get in Thailand costs anywhere from $23 bucks & up

On Ebay it is $1 per tube
