Non Imm Multi O Best Options Overland From Bangkok

Im married to a thai, have one child.

Please advise best options for a multi entry non imm O if travelling from Bangkok, preferably overland. Please note I have less than 100k in my thai bank account.

The only option is Savannakhet in Laos.

Thanks Lopburi.....any idea exactly what documents the embassy require and the turnaround. Also how does one get to this embassy and do any agents offer a service to assist?

You travel to Mukdahan in Thailand and cross the bridge to Savannakhet in Laos. Don't know of any service as the last time it was popular they changed policy on visas and everyone had to go to Vientiane so became sleepy. You will need marriage certificate/copy and Thai wife ID card/home register copies. I would also take short note from her to show she wants visa issued and current relationship. Have her sign/date copies.

Great Lopburi.....thanks again. Any requirement for money in the bank? I presume the Mrs doesn't have to be present. Any recent experiences please share.

One person asking was told 200k but obtained without and all recent reports are that there has been no requirement.
