I found a sponsor letter example on the internet, but for my wife's visa I just made my own, included reason for going, how long and where we would be staying. Just make one up. I have one if you are stuck.

Mine was for a family visitors visa to the UK, just thought I best mention that//////

Dear Sir/Madam,

Ref: Family Visa for (name) (DOB), Thai National.

I am writing in connection with the application for a Family Visit Visa for my wife.

We are applying for a Family Visa for my wife to accompany me to the UK to visit my mother.

We would like to be in the UK from ...... to ........

I am employed in Thailand, and am also registered with the Embassy.

If you should have any questions regarding this application please feel free to ask myself or the applicant (my wife). If you require further documentation please contact us as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully

I think it is basic enough. I also made a letter about our plans (itinerary) and projected costs.

She has been in the uk before on a tourist visa with me, and we have just got married and in the prosses of applying for the spouse visa do you think it would be ok to include the cover letter fom the tourist visa and then speak about what happend when she was in the uk and since her return in the new cover letter for the spouse visa

The guidance I got on the letter to accompany an application for a Fiancée visa was as follows. We subsequently changed our mind and applied for a Visitor Visa but the outline proved useful. I realise your situation is also different in that you are applying for a spouse visa, but again, the outline might be useful.

UK Embassy Bangkok .............................................................................................................................. [Your name]

Wireless Road Lumpini ...............................................................................................................................[Address]

dd/mm/yy

Dear Sir / Madam

Personal details [1st paragraph]

- Your profiles, DOB, family, marital status, family background.

- Your current address and details of the property owner.

- Has the property enough bedrooms for her to stay? Explain how many rooms

Relationship [2nd paragraph]

- Where and when you first met with full explanation

- How long have you been together

- How often do you visit Thailand after

- How you keep in contact

- How the relationship developed with each other

- State about your plan for marriage

- Explain about your plans for the future

- And what is her reason to apply for this visa

Financial Status [3rd paragraph]

- Provide and explain your assets in UK

- What is you current job, how long have you worked for this

company? How much is your salary or annual income?

-Explain the current status of your financial account

- Show responsibility for all expenses

Your faithfully

What exactly is a 'spouse visa'?

Is this the same as a 'visitor's visa'?

Do I need to write such a letter for my wife getting a visitor's visa?

Posted

A spouse visa is a catergory of settlement visa, so it is not a visit visa.

Yes, you should write a cover letter for your wife's visit application. See UK visit visa basics

I suggested that you read that topic some time ago; haven't you done so yet?
