Looking for a good seafood buffet not too far away from chang phueak, any suggestion? basically no need a wide variety, just looking for some crabs and prawn to munch on with a wide variety of thai food. no need for western food etc, just thai food will do, quality and hot =) the budget is anything below 1500

Its not a buffet, but the other day i was riding around and came across a restaurant called samyan seafood on the river. Theyre BKK location was most excellent and i hope to give the CNX branch a try.

Had i known they had a location up here, i would've been a long time ago. If you need an eating buddy to split the bill let me know !

i have heard that the seafood buffet at the Holiday Inn is excellent and although it is not cheap, it is well within your budget (maybe 800 baht or less?) with all kinds of different seafood and other stuff.

OP, try the Holiday Inn on a Sunday... they do a great buffet which includes seafood (prawns, lobster, oysters, tuna, smoked salmon, etc) as well as a carvery, pasta station, Japanese food, Thai food and wonderful selection of desserts, there is even a chocolate fountain...price 550 baht...

Sunday only, 11:30 to 14:30.... be sure to book as it's quite busy, and ask for a VIP card which will give you 20% discount...

NO lobster at holiday inn. Rocklobster isn't lobster. FYI they are often rotten so smell them first. The other seafood is excellent. With tax though it is over 600 each but definitely worth it when it isn't crowded.
