HELP!!! I think I may have fake stamps on my passport, but I'm not sure. When I was travelling around SE Asia in 2002, I gave my passport to various travel agencies to extend my stay. As this service was being provided by the travel agencies and as so many people were using this service, I assumed that it was all perfectly legal. Now it seems that this may not be the case. I have now been living and working in Thailand for 2 years and have a Non-immigrant B visa and work-permit, entitling me to stay in the country for up to a year.

I'm worried that one or two of my stamps from 2002, may be fake and I'm worried about what might happen if they are.

How can I tell if they're fake and what should I do if they are?

You got a non-imm. B visa and a work permit. It means that your passport has been checked over by 2 different administrations and that they haven't seen anything wrong. So why do you worry ?

You can also apply for a new passeport.
