rugbyjacks
I've just realized that my bike (Yamaha Fino, not quite the same as my old R6) tax disc ran out last November (Whoops then!). I know where to go to get the disc but I don't know what to do about the bike insurance. I don't want anything more than the bog standard compulsory insurance. The bike's about 3 years old and is never parked on the street so I don't see the need. Is there a govt insurance company? Or do you just pick a Thai one? Any help would be much appreciated. jvs
If you go to pay your tax they will make you buy insurance first,no insurance paid no new tax sticker.Does not cost a lot and is done in the same place,no problems.
katabeachbum
any DLT, tax renewal office, DLT authorised garage recognisable by the blue/yellow sprocket sign assume you are aware this "insurance" does not cover anything else than medical bills limited to 50k baht

You pay medical bills first, they consider them later
