January 29, 201214 yr I am still searching for a decent but safe commuting helmet for the city. Has anyone seen or used the BMW airflow helmet with the mesh top? ala http://www.helmet-guide.com/bmw-airflow-helmet.html
January 29, 201214 yr Never seen it before, I'm surprised it can keep it's strength but I guess it must do. Good idea, don't really like the look of it though - I'll have a look to see if there are any more traditional style full face styles with the vents.
January 29, 201214 yr you would wear that monstrosity? No visor, so useless in early evening when the bugs fly or in rain. look here for some good helmet reviews. http://www.webbikewo...ts/Products.htm Givi x-01 air.............. http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/givi/x-01/ nolan n43 air ......http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/nolan-n43/ Edited January 29, 201214 yr by thaicbr
January 30, 201214 yr I have the N43-air. It's something else. Just got it so didn't have a chance to try it out in the summer yet, but so far it's something else. Still, I'm not too entirely sure about the top vent on it, especially in the city. You really need to be moving for the air flow to work, otherwise it'll be like any other helmets. Here's something that people might forget, PLEASE chose one with WASHABLE liners, make it soooooo much better than having to dunk the whole helmet in a bucket with shampoo and water.Especially city riding Check this link: http://www.bmwriderspoint.com/1080.aspx The helmet looks really funny.
