January 29, 201214 yr 10 out of 13 of the current top 13 posts are food/drink related! WOW! My point is? erm... not sure! David
January 29, 201214 yr I would have thought it was more. At least we don't need a poll to know what the main interest of TV members are. Edited January 29, 201214 yr by uptheos
January 29, 201214 yr Because everybody loves eating food and chiang mai has so much choice i see this as a positive thing as many of the new restaurants i have tried have been from tv some i have like and some not so keep the suggestions coming .
January 30, 201214 yr Would you rather have tons of posts from those of us who plan to move to CM instead? I don't think so Edited January 30, 201214 yr by FarangSerbia
January 30, 201214 yr Actually, the most popular thread of all time would be from someone looking for a 6 month lease on a 5k per month condo near an excellent pizza place to rent while finalising his wedding arrangements to a bar girl and preparing to buy a plot of land and considering what kind of house to build. Or any combination of the above. Edited January 30, 201214 yr by Greenside
January 30, 201214 yr 10 out of 13 of the current top 13 posts are food/drink related! Yeah.. I guess the only way it can really get worse if we also had topics about food topics. Oh wait. My theory is that these topics are only popular because we're not allowed to discuss the women. Wouldn't it be great to have whole, multi-page topics about Nuey from Carnival, or Jeab at Dragonfly.. That's the whole middle floor yanked out of the Maslow pyramid. So in the resulting rubble we find ourselves at ground-level: Food, health, shelter/housing.. Like dazed expatriate hunter-gatherers. We need to leave that middle floor in place, in order to ever advance to the two top levels; we simply can't get there without passing through level 3. Edited January 30, 201214 yr by WinnieTheKhwai
January 30, 201214 yr How many of the Food Topics where on the Food of the GODS ? Fish and Chips ! john
January 30, 201214 yr Maybe David that is so you know where to take the both of us out to dinner after I get back next week! On my last New Guinea - China run with another load of gas then its the steam chicken home!
January 30, 201214 yr I'm not sure either, BUT the guy who had a bit of his Hot Dog missing at 7/11 does stick in my old grey cells, and of course the short measure of Coke.
January 31, 201214 yr What else would you expect? This is the Chiang Mai forum. That is all anyone does here... eat.
January 31, 201214 yr What else would you expect? This is the Chiang Mai forum. That is all anyone does here... eat. You speak for yourself. I prefer to live on the fruits of love, but it`s all gotten rather too expensive these days.
