Conditions are pretty bad at the moment, but still people in the sea on most beaches. Saw a Russian/Eastern European the other day on Choengmon beach - so pisssed that he collapsed coming out of the water. He lay face down in the surf, just a metre or two from the beach, until a tourist went over and helped him up onto the sand. He could easily have drowned in 6 inches of water there in the surf.
