Recommended Places To Rent English Dvd, Vcd In Central Pattaya

Hi Guys...

Many of you Sophon users have realized by now that there is not much English language TV to keep you entertained in the evenings (I'm not into sports or news, and I can only handle so much of the Wiggles). NHK is the only decent channel of late. I've done the bootleg DVD thing at the markets, but selection is surprisingly poor.

I want to try the rental places, so I'm looking to see if anyone can make a recommendation. I know of 2 places in particular: 1 across from Big C Extra on Pattaya Klang, and another on 3'rd road between Klang and Pattaya Tai. Any others?

There is a chain of rental shops in most of the malls - Carrefour Big C Extra, All Lotus supermarkets, probably elsewhere too. I haven't rented anything for years so I don't know if it's still mostly VCD's or they also have DVD's these days, or indeed even if there is anything available worth watching.

The Box and other BitTorrent sites

All the latest shows available.

I doubt any local shops in Pattaya will have rentals of "Only Fools and Horses"

That reminds me, there used to be an ad in Pattaya Mail by a guy that had DVD sets of a lot of English TV shows, maybe he's still about?

He got busted a while back. I do agree with bi torrents as being the way ahead.

Get a high speed internet connection if you don't have one already and every show or movie (recent or popular ones) you want to see is available within 30 minutes or less if the connection is good.

so what's the current site du jour for 'borrowing' film and video?

We are getting into an area that Thaivisa for legal reasons does not wish to be associated with.
