Yeah I'd say that's drastic. I know a few Thais with Husky/Malamute type dogs. They keep them wet all the time. That's probably not appropriate either, They just don't belong here, same as the St. Bernards we so often see. I was a St. Bernard breeder once and absolutely love the breed. necronx99 Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Huskies do fine in the tropics. They just won;t grow as big. Give it access to cool parts of the hosue, use a thinning comb to keep it's coat lean. Never wet it, they will get hotter when they are wet. If you wash it dry it properly.
