February 13, 201214 yr If I want to upgrade my 27 inch Imac i7 from 2010, where do I go? Im thinking about getting SSD and more memory, but I really dont want to install it myself. Any reliable place around in Bangkok? ..Can Istudio do this? Edited February 13, 201214 yr by ricku
February 14, 201214 yr I would buy the parts from OWC macsales.com and do it myself. Its not that difficult to do just take your time with it and follow a guide such as ifixit.com. Just be careful when you tilt the screen up and disconnect the several ribbon cables. That and reconnecting them is the trickiest part.

Just be careful when you tilt the screen up and disconnect the several ribbon cables. That and reconnecting them is the trickiest part. Thanks for the tip! I could buy the parts from an alternative source, but I still don't want to install the parts myself. I am just too nervous to do something like that, and I have absolutely zero knowledge when it comes to fiddling around inside computers. I am thinking that there must be at least 1 place I can call for help in this megalopolis of 20 million people.

February 14, 201214 yr Yea bkk mac is good.. its a hackintosh site, but they do apple servicing as well.
February 15, 201214 yr I've posted this recommendation before, but I like Mac Home Service for getting my Apple service done, and have done so for years. Small, family run shop and they only do Macs, and at very reasonable prices. Here is their contact information: http://www.machomeservice.com/map.php
