boredofseri
Hi, I recently applied for an extension based on marriage to Thai wife. Had all of my documents in order and the immigration official stamped my passport that my request for extension is under consideration. I need to go back in 30 days. My question is does anyone know if I still need to leave the 400k in the bank or if I can move my funds elsewhere? I notice the requirement is 400k for at least 2 months (mine was in there for 4). I don't want to take the money out and have immigration reject me based on that. Thanks in advance...

Lite Beer
Personally I always dip into it straight after application. I have seen no reports of any problems by other members. It used to be an issue before the 2 month rule was introduced.
boredofseri
Thanks for that information guys.. So, what is the process when I go back to immigration. Do I just take a number and give them my passport. If its approved, they stamp my passport, and if its not approved, they dont? And do you know if I need to take any additional paperwork? Thanks again.
Lite Beer
Just take your Passport to get it stamped. It is extremely unlikely you will be refused.
