Hello,

I've read so much about work permits, visas etc, but now it;s possible that I'm changing schools, if our Thai head teacher isn't changing her nasty behavior.

Fact is that I'm on my fourth waiver letter from TCT and I would be okay until August 2013.

The new school will be in a neighboring province and i do know that I'll have to leave the country to apply for a new visa in let's say Sawannakhet. I know that I'll have to come up with all the paperwork again, regarding the Teacher's Council Of Thailand.Got a BA, but not in education, have my Thai Culture Cert. and a lot of other documents.

Now I've got three other jobs, just in case if something goes wrong. But is it really possible to get another temporally allowance in form of a waiver letter?

Any input would be deeply appreciated.......jap.gif

Greetings from lower northeast.

Cheers- M.

Not a 100% but surely if you've got the correct credentials and your new school has got everything in place for you then why not.

Although the visa does come with the name of the school now that you originally applied for. This might be a snagging point.

Also depends on which way the wind is blowing, TIT etc... etc....

Best of Luck.

Thanks! Well, I know that I'd have to renew my visa in Laos with all the documents when changing schools, particularly when working in another province.

It seems that my job is pretty safe now, but who knows? The other schools are just my backup.

But I'll bypass the old <deleted> and go to the director to ask him about my new contract next week, as she hasn't got much to say either. Cheers-M. jap.gif
