Korean Online Casino based in North Pattaya, shutdown by Region 2 Police

PATTAYA:-- A South Korean online casino operation in Naklua has been shut-down by Region 2 Police.

They were given information by Thailand’s Crime Watch Network, of the online casino which was being operated from the Sky Beach Condominium in Soi Wongamart in Naklua. Transnational Crime Suppression Police obtained an search warrant and conducted a raid of room number 3808 and arrested three South Korean Nationals, Mr. Ji Woo Lee aged 26, Mr. Seungho Lee aged 26 and Mr. Jinwong Cho aged 22.

Police Lieutenant General Panya, the Region 2 Police Commissioner explained at a press conference held at Pattaya Police Station on Wednesday Morning that they were employed by a fellow Korean Mr. Yoo Won Young, who is currently being sought by Police, and were paid a salary of 50,000 Baht per month to oversee the online casino and operated from the condominium
