15 year old arrested following knife attack on Motorbike Taxi driver in North Pattaya

PATTAYA:-- A 15 year old boy stabbed a motorbike taxi driver as he attempted to steal his motorbike on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred outside Banglamung Hospital and thanks to a quick response from the Police, the suspected attacker, who was prevented from stealing the motorbike, due to an immobilizing device which was fitted to the vehicle, was arrested and the injured motorbike taxi driver, Khun Komsaern aged 23, was taken to the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya for emergency treatment.

The 15 year old boy was later questioned at Banglmaung Police Station where he revealed that he was desperate to return to his home province of Ayutthaya and decided the best way to do this was to steal a motorbike and use the proceeds to go home.
