any one living in or near somdet..i will be moving up there soon..and i will need a cafe or coffee shop with wifi..any idea if they have one...thanks

A couple of internet shops in the main drag, at the front of the Somdet hotel. only 20 baht an hour.

Make sure you go when all the little grommets are in school.

thanks for that, what i was really after was somwhere i could use the wifi with my note book.. so i can download a bit of uk tv.. as i think i will be a bit to far of the main drag for adsl..unless 3g will be ok for download video files

There is a PTT petrol station just southwest of Somdet along road 213. They usually have a Cafe Amazon with wifi. They have good coffee too. Try Mocha.
