Oh you want to discuss visiting Thai provinces, how about Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Borneo, Philippines... Did one motorcycle journey of 3 months starting in Phnom Penh, up through Laos to as far north as luang prabang(those mountain roads are fun to drive on a big bike). Down through thailand with a side jaunt to burma from rayong I believe because one of the members of the group hadn't been to Myanmar and wanted a stamp in his passport. Down to Malaysia, Georgetown/Penang, KL, then to Singapore. Took a ferry from KL to Malaysia Borneo, drove across it through that Muslim country that requires 6 border crossings to get through it back into Malaysia then to Sandakhan. Ferry from there to Zamboanga, then Cebu, then tacloban and drove up to AC. Sold the bikes there (bought mine for $5k and sold for $7k). Flew back and bought new bikes. That was one trip of many. So no I don't need to see how the peasants live in each Thai province. Been there, done that, for sure didn't buy a T-shirt. What bus trip to what backwater province gave you done?
