Uk Visit Visa

Featured Replies

Hi there,

My girlfriend and I have been together for a good 3 and a half years now. She has been to the UK three times on three different visit visas, while I've been to Thailand 4 different times, coming back just a month ago.

We would like if she was to come over here in April or May, however she has had a change of circumstances compared to the last 3 times. She had to leave after 2nd year of university to study to get high school grades (long story short, she didn't have them and the university won't let her start studying 3rd year without them first - fair enough).

So, on all three previous visas she has got, a reason to return was that she had already paid and enrolled for the next term of university. Now, obviously she would like to continue studying 3rd year university when she gets these certain grades (around September), however the weight of that statement is something i'm slightly concerned about when it comes to getting a visa from the UK Bangkok embassy.

Do you think there would be any issues getting a visit visa without my girlfriend being enrolled for university? We already have had a visit visa application refused 3 years ago so i'm very wary of this. Like I said though, she was able to get 3 different visit visas after this.

Appreciate any help

No I don't she has already demonstrated she can be trusted & has returned to Thailand.
