Looking For Carpet Store

Featured Replies

I know I have seen a very old thread on the subject of carpets, but I can't locate it now. Anyway, maybe someone has some new info regarding carpet stores in CM?

I'm not looking for wall to wall, but would like a cut to order piece around 12' x 13' feet, to be used as an area rug in my living room.

Any tips on locating a store would be appreciated. What will not be appreciated are people asking, Why do you want carpets in Thailand? Or those trying to talk me out of the idea. Thanks in advance for any helpful info on locating carpets.

On the Superhighway (Hwy 11) just south of Big C Extra is Index Living Mall, a store with a small selection of area rugs similar in size to what you're wanting. It's worth checking out. http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=18.7955742&lon=99.0228224&z=16&l=0&m=b

Thanks for the information MrBrad.

We bought some pieces of carpet for area rugs. Not sure where from since the g/f went to buy them. They literally disintegrated after about 8 months.

There is a carpet manufacturer in Sankapang, which makes hand made carpets with thick pile, and I think the name is Boah Baht or something like that. I haven't visited the factory, but I have seen them at some of the fairs with a nice selection of upscale carpeting.
