Also i would like to know the avarge price for the 1- African Gray 2- Macaws 3- Cokatoos 4- Amazons.

I've never been to Thailand. Appreciate your help in advance.

Thanks

I'm getting a sense of deja vu here...

Few on this forum will sympathise with your mission to find cheap birds to export.

I use to own a parrot shop (Pattaya Parrots) and people constantly wanted to take parrots back to their country as they were so much cheaper here. No one actually was able to export them without proper licenses and then it was almost impossible to get them into their country. Many people has the idea they would smuggle them in but not worth the potential penalties.Unless you are in the business don't waste your energy, not worth it.

The Norwegian Blue?

I did some pricing for my daughter who raises parrots, african greys and cockatoos in the states. African greys can run up to 10,000 baht or more if adults. The average price was 5,000 baht for any of the birds. My pricing was not in Chatuchak but a similar market outside of Bangkok.

As the one writer stated, permits to export or import will be the problem. With the bird flu problems still existing, importing them will be the main problem along with possible quarantine time.

There are internet sites here in Thailand that should assist you in your search and purchasing.

u have never been here but want to buy alots of bird? where will u keep them how r u gonna to take care of them? sounds smelly to me.

i own a macaw and love her to death, i would never think of taking her on the plane across the country ,its might be very horrible for her......
