My visa runs out ( border stamp ) on the 5/3/12.

I have a non imm O visa multiple entry valid until Dec.

Can I extend this for 30 or 10 days at a local imm office ( Khon Kaen ) or have I got to do a border run. The border run would be a pain as I have got to get back to the UK on the 14/3/12.

If you have a 1-year Non-Imm 'O' Visa issued at a Thai Consulate outside Thailand you have the right of entry for up to 90 days at a time during the validity of the visa. It would appear that you arrived with visa for the first time in December 2011 so that your first 90-day entry expires on 5th March 2012. You must do a border run on/before that day or else you will have to pay an overstay fine when you leave on the 14th March. Other experts may wish to comment on whether your visa would still be valid if you want to come back later on.

Cheers.

So a border run it is then.

Is it still a full page for a Lao visa stamp ? My passport is nearly full and only a few normal stamp sized spaces left.

I'm near Khon Kaen , any idea's ?

Believe use of the e-visa from Cambodia is much smaller so you might apply for that - but be aware it can only be used at specific crossings.

If you have a thai wife or family you can extend it for 60 days at immigration for 1900 baht.

My eVisa for Cambodia was full page size several years ago

Obviously a long journey - but both Burma and Malaysia only have regular sized entry/exit stamps as UK nationals (and many others) have visa exempt entry there.
