February 6, 200422 yr Ive bought a couple of phones from overseas to thailand and they have been locked. Alot of shops in thailand now have facilities to unlock phones and will also sell you a sim card to start talking. Getting the imei number changed in the uk can now be difficult, unless you have friends with the software in phone shops.
