Hi again,

If you are applying for UK citizenship and were married in Thailand and have only the Thai wedding certificates and certified translation (certified in Bangkok for the British embassy) is this sufficient for the citizenship application which requests wedding certificates?

If yes then great, if not please provide further info.

Much appreciated as always!

Cheers John, that's great!

Also, for the Life in the UK test, the confirmation that you met this requirement... is that simply the settlement visa?

I don't know if we got the pass certificate back after the settlement visa was issued? I can't remember and can't find it.

Thanks again!

On the application form for citizenship question 1.22 states " I have passed the life in the UK test and attached confirmation, the test number is *********. So in answer to your question yes you do need the pass letter and test number and the Visa itself is not enough alone. You are expected to prove the pass yourself. Just as in all cases with any fresh application with Border or Immigration dont expect them to take what you think is for granted and the obvious. Good luck in finding it !!
