Banglamung Police arrest suspected money lenders and drug dealers

PATTAYA:-- Banglamung Police has arrested a 10-man illegal money lending gang and four people involved in class 1 drug distribution.

Police Colonel Somnook held a press conference on Tuesday to announce the arrest of the 10 men who are suspected of being involved in an 8 Million Baht illegal money lending operation. Officers conducted a raid of a house at the Sirindar Village on the Sukhumvit Road in Jomtien, following a tip-off from a member of the public.

Paperwork was seized confirming the money lending operation and the ringleader was identified as Khun Wichai aged 30 who revealed to Police how money would be sent to him every day at 8pm from the other suspects who were responsible for collecting daily payments from customers.
