Domestic incident dealt with by Pattaya Police in front of Shopping Mall

PATTAYA:-- A domestic dispute outside a South Pattaya Shopping Mall, required Police intervention in the early hours of Thursday. Officers were called by members of the public to the Pattaya Second Road entrance of Mike Shopping Mall where they were confronted by two men fighting over a 2 year old child.

It transpired the child and its mother had attempted to escape from her new boyfriend and the woman’s former Husband and father of the child was called to assist them. Everyone was taken to Pattaya Police Station where allegations of child abuse were brought against the new boyfriend; Khun Wirung aged 45, who confessed to hitting the child on a number of occasions. Evidence of injuries to the child were documented, including, what appeared to be a bite mark on his stomach.
