Bangkok University

Featured Replies

i posted this in general but did not getmuch response ,my son is just leaving assumption college and wants to go to Bangkok university with his friends ,some have gone abroad but afraid i cant afford it ,can anyone give advice ,have you got kids there ect? all help appreciated

ps he is an average student ,but hard working and his english is perfect as he was schooled in Britain when he was younger.

Bangkok Uni is not very good. He would be much better off applying for one of the top international programs at Chula, Thammasat, Mahidol. If he can't get into any of those, then start considering ABAC, then Bangkok Uni. The expensive private unis are basically for kids who can't get into the top programs at the government ones, but who's parents can still afford to send them to an international program. It also depends what course he wants to do as each uni has its strong points and the private ones offer some courses which the government ones don't.
