Uk Settlement Visa

I want to apply for a settlement visa and get that to start in 3 months time and then maybe not leave Thailand for another 3 months so that would leave 24 months left on the visa from what I have read you need to spend 24 months in the UK to apply for ilr can you within them 24 months say spend 2 weeks each year out of the UK on holiday so in total over the 24 months you would have spent another 1 month out of the country. can you still apply for ilr or would you have to apply for flr.

I think you've answered your own question. That 24months has to be spent within the UK to qualify for ILR....hence the 27month visa which allows 3 months to be spent out of the country
