February 29, 201214 yr Hello. I have a few questions re marriage. Sorry if the answers are elsewhere (I have tried looking but couldn't find specifics) 1. To get married to a Thai national does she need original house registration or a copy? 2. As I am divorced from ex wife in UK, do I need to show proof of payments to my children (who live with my ex-wife and her husband). 3. I have the decree absolute from 2008, is this sufficient? 4. In the Affirmation of Freedom to Marry document from the UK Embassy it requests information regarding income: do I need to prove income or just state what I earn? If anyone can shed some light on these questions I would be so grateful. Many thanks J

February 29, 201214 yr Out of interest, what does your living and income have to do with your freedom to marry? Always thought this was strange.
February 29, 201214 yr I don't remember having to show any income or money when getting married here 7+ years ago. Just had to show I was legally available to get married as did my partner.
February 29, 201214 yr 4. In the Affirmation of Freedom to Marry document from the UK Embassy it requests information regarding income: do I need to prove income or just state what I earn? The latter. When I got married I wasn't working so I asked the guy at the British Embassy about this. He said " Just put any amount."
