We're going down to Pattaya area this month from Chiang Mai by car. There'll be 8 or 9 of us and I would like any recommendations for a place to stay. Some quietish place out of town would be best. You get these typical Thai resort places, Thai owned, just a simple room with a place to park your car, but I can't think of any in Pattaya. Thanks

Morning, There is a recently opened Dutch resort just off nerm Plab Warn, I have no details but I am sure you can Google Tulip (?) or something similar as I think they use that emblem in their name

Peacock Place on Siam Country Club road is worth a look at. Kiddie and golf friendly.

If you have a few quid maybe the Thai Garden resort, I have read they have recently renovated the place, very kiddie friendly and a nice pub at the front. Close enough to the shops if the ladies fancy that.
