March 4, 201214 yr When I was rewiring the MIL house I opened a fan control box and found this in it I think it was a gekko that grew up in the box and couldn't escape, but was able to survive on the insects that flew in. Eventually of course it died. The white balls are gekko eggs ( I think ). A couple of pics of some wiring before I replaced it.
March 11, 201214 yr No, that gecko was purposely placed in the box by the Thai electrical technician during installation of the control box. The gecko's purpose was to eat bugs before they could damage the switch. This is covered under Thai Electrical Code Section 43 as a recommended practice.
March 11, 201214 yr Pib you idiot. You must be using outdated Thai electrical regulation. Now under sub section 43.2.7 For safety sake, you should get with the program.
