Please Don'T Step On The Flowers..

Featured Replies

The city needs to be recognized on a positive note for trying to beautify the Beach Road promenade with plants and flowers. It said in one newspaper article that the beautification is for the preparation of the Music Festival (March 30-April1). The city is urging visitors not to trample on the plants. Well, it would help if the "professional" landscapers or city workers would put up small fences or railings to keep people from walking on them and better yet, not to have the NIGHT VENDORS along the Beach Road walkway during the festival. This does more damage to the plants and area than a toursit walking around.

I was under the impression that the Music Festival was the 18th to 20th.

Rather a strange topic for a thread. Just a simple sign that you see around the world really.

an even stranger reply to said topic

Well how is the thread supposed to go? Just more complaints about street vendors on beach rd.

I mean "oh my god !!! I saw some flowers today with no little fences around them. What should we do"

When in Rome... sleep on them, picnic on them, step on them, urinate on them, throw garbage on them, hide weapons in them.

Actually it's very simple. They are planted in cement foundations so why not just try not to step on them.

I think you need to explain that to the locals.

A brand new garden was installed there a few years ago, no?

I suspect there was some undocumented outflow of maintenance funds.

Laying down a few pot plants can hardly be called a "garden".
