March 6, 201214 yr Hello everybody, I have a 60 days tourist visa. Now I want to go to the Philippines for one week. But the visa is not valid anymore. Can I use the normal 30 days visa to go to Thailand first and use the 60 days visa when I come back from the Philippines? Thank you
March 6, 201214 yr The 30 day entry is a visa exempt entry, not a visa. How can you use a visa if it's not valid anymore? Edited March 6, 201214 yr by beechguy
March 7, 201214 yr Your post is not completely clear. I guess you have a tourist visa and are planning to go to Thailand, than for a short stop go to Phillipines and than come back to Thailand again for a longer stay. If they will allow you not to use the tourist visa on first entry is up to the immigration officr, you can only ask nicely and see if they are willing to accomodate you. There is no guarentee. Some people get their wish, some people not. If you don't get yur wish, you can get a r-entry permit, that keeps your original 60 days alive when you go to the Phillipines. Your tourist visa can be extended by 30 days at immigration for 1,900 baht.
