Misplaced
There will of course be people who disagree with this, who perhaps have their children in the Thai State Schools. Fine if you want your son taught nationalism by rote and to leave school fully qualified in wearing uniforms, marching in neet order and banging on drums. If you want him to learn to think independently you'll not want him in any part of the Thai state education system nor in most of the private education system either. I went to Thai school through 8th grade than finished the rest of my studies in the US. During my first year in the U.S. I noticed that I was well ahead of my class mates in Mathematics, so it's not that bad. The only class I was lacking behind was in your standard American history, English & Government...etc. So, lets give some credits where credits is due. Loz
Misplaced, May I ask where you went to school here? It might be helpful to people with kids.
