Marriage Visa

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Does anybody know how user friendly Singapore is to get a multi-entry Non O Marriage Visa.

Cheers

Should not be a problem provided you are PR or have EP (work permit) in Singapore. Or other permission to stay in Singapore other than visitor with stamp from the border. And you need to meet the embassy requirements.

I got couple from there couple of years ago and at the time they did not issue for "tourists" coming from Thailand. I doubt that has changed but you could check the threads with recent experiences in the region.

And have to add that having EP at the time and it was very friendly over the phone asking their requirements and at the time submitting the application.

A few months ago when I had my wife call, they were very short on the phone and said they would only issue a single or double entry visa and not do the multi entry visa. They aslo, rudely, stressed that we would have to show proof of 400,000 Baht in the bank.

The issue of refusing to issue a multi entry is what led us (like many others now) to go to the Thai Consultate in Savan, Laos.

In the area KL and Savanakhet are the only one known to issue a multiple non-O. Kl will want to see 100,000 in the bank.
