gamini
My wife has obviously to leave and return to Thailand on her Thai passport which is in her maiden name and also her air ticket is in her Thai name. She also has a NZ passport but it is in her married name and wants to use it for travel in Europe in order to avoid getting visas. With now more security in force will she have any problems.? The airline will see she has no visa for the destnation e,g, the UK for instance. Will they accept seeing her valid NZ passport even though it is in a different name.?? NewlyMintedThai
Yes, they will. But which name will you book the tickets under?
gamini
Yes, they will. But which name will you book the tickets under? The tickets must be booked in her Thai name because when going out through Thai immigration, her boarding card (which she may have to produce) would have to be the same as her passport. If she prodoced a baording card with a different name as in her passport there could be problems
