I'm sad to say I've let the maintenance of my motorcycle slide a bit and the chrome has a bit of surface rust. I've had this problem in the US before and a bit of bronze wool with some metal polish worked wonders. Does anyone know where I can get some? I've checked Home Pro, Big C, and Lotus as well as a couple of smaller shops and nothing, not even steel wool.

I used some Brasso and some green scoury pads that I use in the kitchen for washing up.

It cleaned most of the crap from the downpipe and even did a lot for the chrome on the wheels.

Yes , use Brasso + green scouring pads, but for heavier corrosion would suggest using a stainless steel pot scourer (available everywhere) with the Brasso.
