Javabear Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 I'm sad to say I've let the maintenance of my motorcycle slide a bit and the chrome has a bit of surface rust. I've had this problem in the US before and a bit of bronze wool with some metal polish worked wonders. Does anyone know where I can get some? I've checked Home Pro, Big C, and Lotus as well as a couple of smaller shops and nothing, not even steel wool. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

billd766 Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 (edited) I used some Brasso and some green scoury pads that I use in the kitchen for washing up. It cleaned most of the crap from the downpipe and even did a lot for the chrome on the wheels. The bike had been standing in BKK for a while before I bought it. Try Googling photo of steel wire wool or bronze wire also Google translate. Remember a photo is worth more than 1,000 Thai words.
