Aranyaprathet To Pattaya Travel Options

Featured Replies

Is there a VIP bus from the border or the town itself? ? Also what should i pay for a taxi?

Thanks

dunno about regular buses

but there are some minibus/vans doing visa runs Pattaya-Aranyaprathet,

some may have vacant seats for the return trip

when you cross the border into LoS;

make a right and walk about 100-150 meters towards Rongklua market

then you'll find a taxi-meter queue on your left hand,

if I remember correctly the standard fare Rongklua --> BKK is 1900 or 2000 baht

BKK --> Patts is normally 1000/1100 including toll

on the basis of this you should be able to negotiate an OK price for Rongklua --> Pattaya

I use to take the bus from Bangkok and would have to take a motorcycle taxi from the bus station to the border, and the same after the visa run. Bus station is not that far away, but too far to walk. So I would think if you want a VIP bus, you'll get it at the station in town. My relatives just came here via minibus. I think it drops you off near Big C on Suk near S. Pattaya Road. I would guess the bus drops you at the station on N. Pattaya Road?
