Swedish resident found dead in his Jomtien apartment

PATTAYA:--A Swedish man was found dead in his Jomtien apartment in the early hours of Friday.

The body of Mr. Markku Antero Auvinen aged 60 was discovered earlier by his friend who persuaded Security Guards at the Jomtien Beach Apartments to force entry after Mr. Auvinen failed to answer. Inside the room, Mr. Auvinen was lying on his bed and appeared to have been dead for some hours.

Evidence of a traumatic health issue prior to his death was seen in the room and according to his friend Mr. Auvinen was a heavy drinker.

Finnish Swede (Sweden has a sizable minority). Sadly they are 'known' for being heavy drinkers, part of their archetype in populare culture. Not without merits.

R.I.P

Btw, the note about 'violent act' at the time of his death might be a bad translation, I read it more as...the explanation of any damage to room consistent to a man having a massive heart-attack and reacting to it in pain. Not something else.
