When i was signing up to TV, I was listening to Mr BoJangles (one of my most favorite tunes) , the Robbie Williams version. It prompted me for a nick name and I had to think quickly  :D

IMHO you didn´t think...I think you just typed what came to your ears.. :D  :D

Yes i think your right there :burp:

I'm just glad i wasn't listening to "A Boy named Sue" by Johnny Cash at the time :D:D

Well done MBJ :D

As for me, it is simply my Thai nickname (Yak=Giant) due to my hight of 1,91m (6'4'' ?!?) :D

I'm not really at liberty to define what my screenname means but I can tell you it has nothing to do with smut or porn.

Et in Arcadia Ego

Does it relate to your blood line? As in Holy Blood and Holy Grail, perchance?

Let's try some free thinking here...

"Et in Arcadia Ego" appears on one of Poussin's better known paintings, "The Arcadian Shepherds", and refers to death existing even in paradise...

...the idea of Arcadia as paradise comes from Virgil...

...Virgil is the earth-boring ship in a film called "The Core" which makes a trip to the centre of the earth...

...X marks the centre, and appears in the centre of TRIPxCORE...

Am I totally off the mark ?????

Well...

Glauka is the name of the main character of one of my favourites books "The old mermaid". I chose that name because sometimes I identified myself with this character... :o

why did you chose yours?

Name of small pueblo in Colombia near la finca of my first wife family. Maybe 15 houses comprised this small spot. One house sells beer soft drinks and cigarettes, that where when I was out for a long ride in that direction, would be a refueling stop. Trade my empty beer bottles for full, and walk around for a bit, glad to be off La Mora, my horse.

Mine is my nic name from years ago and comes from a character in the cartoon strip "Wizard of Id"

He's the alcoholic court jester.....

When I came to work in Phuket all the Thai Muslims liked it as it meant "Old Brother" so it stuck here as well.

Even my son calls me Paw Bung.

I also heard the it means "Swamp Cabbage" in Thai Muslim but I prefer the original meaning :o

Silly really, but you asked

I wanted to know the reasons for such a name nor a exciting story :o ...so the answer you gave me is what i was looking for...and doesn´t look silly to me BTW.
