Been searching high and low all over Phuket to find a grommet installation kit. Been to HomePro, Homeworks even the huge sailing specialist Rolly Tasker (they actually sell grommets but no kits, obviously like to charge for installing themselves)

Anyone know of anywhere I might find in Thailand. Othehrwise I shall have to have delivered from UK.

Obviously doesn't have to be from the below supplier

Have you tried Bangkok hardware on Samkong Rd. From Phuket Bangkok hospital going to Lotus, first set of light hard left, shop is about 70m on riht side. Shop ha a fantastic range of tools and accessories.

I know the location and will go have a mooch around the shop tomorrow. Thanks for the response.

Went and had a mooch today. Your right, it really is what I'd call a real hardware store, so much gear. Unfortunately didn't find what I was searching for but did find gear I wasn't searching for.

I'll be a regular visitor to this place. DIY heaven.

If anyone else has any ideas about the grommet kit please let me know.

the sign printer/computer shop downstairs far right corner at Big C has the tool for doing his poster/banners etc. Ask him where he got it.

I 'd already thought about asking at the sign shop we use for our business and the at shop which manufactures our rain blinds. Will investigate further.

ThetHE SIGN Makers, can put any holes etc,for you,wether they will tell you where to get the kits or tools is up to them.good luck

Thought I'd take a chance at having a wander along Thalang Road in Phuket Town where we buy the fabric for and have our tablecloths made. Walked into a small hardware/stationers and showed them the photo. The owner immediately said "mai mee" but then gave me the name of a small habidashery shop 50m along from him.

Bingo!!!

When I showed them the photo they scurried into the back and came out with a bag of kits of different sizes. One kit plus 100 grommets 260Bt.
