  1. Where to purchase adult toys in CM
  2. Sporting goods store or resonable facsimile to purchase large REI style back pack in CM.

You can buy things like Jenga and Monopoly at Lotus, there are some shops near Pantip plaza that sell Remote controll cars and airplanes.

As for the sporting goods. Robinson Airport Plaza has some good camping gear, but it is rather expensive.

Somehow I doubt these are the adult toys the OP is referring to.

Not legal (adult sex toys) and as such can not be discussed on TV. Not clear if that is what the OP is asking for, though I admit that was the first thing that came to my mind. wink.png Will wait for the OP's response to clarify.

I'm confident the OP would never ask for illegal objects on this forum.I guess what he had in mind are those instruments that are used for an intensive massage.

Are they illegal? They sell them openly by the dozens as well as DVD's all over Hat Yai.

Can anyone remember that old song; all the nice girls like a candle?

Make sure the candle`s not lit of course.

You've been here long enough to know that lots of stuff is sold openly but not necessarily legal. wink.png Anyway ...

“It is illegal to open a sex shop in Phuket or anywhere else in Thailand. Such shops are not congruent with Thai morals or Thai law.”

“It is illegal to to buy or sell sex toys, or open a sex shop, in Thailand. It is also illegal to import such devices to Thailand. If you order sex toys on the Internet or have friends send them to you, and we discover them, we are required to confiscate them.”

Are they organic and pesticide free? biggrin.png

I'm sure you could order something online (dealextreme?).

As for packs... towards CMU there is a night market (opposite side of the road (north side)...someone may be able to provide the market name). Just head west on Huai Kaeo at night towards CMU and look for the scores of motorcycles parked on the north side of the road. There's food and lots of clothing shops. At the very back you'll find a guy who has a large selection of knock-off packs. I have a $250 Deuter pack at home and didn't want to spend $300 on a temporary one so I bought one here for 1200 Baht. You can buy the real thing at the sports store in Kad Suan Kaew...they have a sale right now on the second floor.

There were a couple of flaws with the pack but I've traveled a few times with it and it has held up to air carrier abuse and is comfortable.
