Krunsi Withdrawals, How Much Can Be Withdrew Daily.

Featured Replies

Hi,

im in uk, wife has account with krungsi, im going to los maybe next month and want to do a lot of work to our house, i do not want or have cash in uk so i need to withdraw from krungsi, obviously i cannot withdraw money using her book in bank. What is the daily max limit. Its a savings account though it does say visa on card, maybe a store debit card im not sure.

Thanks

Max limit is set by you when you open the account. the default for my account(standard savings) was 200k a day. Keep in mind that ATM's have their own limit(~20k) so you may have to hit a couple ATMs.

I suspect the limit may be a lot less than that. On website they state 100k max (both ATM and merchant) for the several I just checked. On my Bangkok Bank debit card it is 50k per day from ATM (or 150k for merchant). Normal account here is savings but used for daily expense as few people have or use checks. Visa would most likely be a debit type card for use with ATM and in stores.

Have just checked my card, its a visa debit premium member card. Have looked on krungsi website cannot see daily withdrawal limits.

Do not see that listed - they often change card names - but if you check they all seem to have 100k limit (full details of any card).

In any case should work fine and most contractors will be glad to have a pay as go plan. Where it can be an issue is emergency hospital payment when there are such limits.
