Asok Trees

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

I am wanting some Asok (also known as Ashoka) trees, about 3.5 mtrs+

Can anyone suggest a supplier?

Many thanks

Best guess, try the garden market almost opposite Bangkok Pattaya Hospital every Fri, Sat & Sun

Thanks MJCM I have asked at the flower market a couple of times, unfortunately no luck

I don't know if it will help you any further, but the tree is called โสกน้ำ (Sok naam) in Thai. And maybe you could ask a moderator to move this post to Farming or the Plants Section.

:wai:

I have a top notch landscape/garden guy who can source them for you. He speaks great English and guarantees his work. Yes, you read that right. A few of my big trees didn't make it and he replaced them for free...but all are doing fantastic now. He's over today giving us quotes on some stuff we want to have done. He's also the main guy for one of the larger housing villages here.

PM me if interested in his number.

I attached before and after pics of the work he did.

Just met with Bamlung. He just got back from a big job in Rayong for a senator, where he planted some Asok trees. He said they get very tall.

So yes, he can get these for you.
