Event Planning Internship-Phuket

Luxury Events Phuket has been up and running for about 5 years. We specialize in weddings targeted towards the upscale market. If you're looking for a valuable internship dedicated to build a solid skill-set in luxurious private events, then we invite you to work with our team. You'll learn a ton lot, because we do things with thought, heart and considerations. We are looking for interns available in the Fall/Winter Semester (Oct 2012-Feb 2013). This is a paid internship. Both Thai and International students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities Include:

-Creating a checklist and collecting all the items needed leading up to the wedding day -Research new venues and suppliers

-Assisting and running errands for the wedding planner

-Coordinating with our catering, flower, and transportation team to ensure all arrangements for our clients and guests runs smoothly

-Creating and budgeting wedding packages

-Maintaining a friendly and welcoming attitude to the soon-to-be-wed couple, their guests, and the community who gather for the wedding ceremony

Ideal Candidates are:

-Positive/outgoing and self-motivated

-Great communication skills in English

-Have experience living or working in an international environment

- Quick learner and ability to multitask

- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word&Excel)

- Possess Spreadsheet, admin, and Budgeting skills

- Passionate in Wedding/Hospitality/Events Industry
