my wife is a thai national and living in the uk with an indefinite leave to remain in the uk, could she become a british citizen but also remain a thai national ? in other words can see legally hold a thai and a uk passport at the same time?

Yes.

I have a Thai and U.S. Passport. Both U.S. and Thailand allow citizenship of another country.

I believe there are people on this forum who already have a Thai and U.K. passport.

I am fairly certain you can do it, BUT I do not know if the U.K. has the same policy of allowing citizenship of another country, as I do not have U.K. citizenship and never looked into it.

Yeap I hold duel passports....the only time a problem would ever come up is if the two countries concerned ever went to war with each other and duel nationals would most likely be put in position of having to choose one nationality over the other
