The head of Thailand's energy giant, PTT Exploration and Production, confirmed the plan in an interview with The Canadian Press days before Prime Minister Stephen Harper is set to begin a three-country Asian tour in Thailand this week.

If Thailand wants to own a Canadian oil company, then they can only own 49% and rest must be 51% Canadian owned. Also they cannot own the land, only lease it. If Thai workers come to Canada then marry Canadians, then Thai men should be required to put 400,000 Cdn dollars in bank to prove they can take care of their wife. Mike take a breath. Sell it to them with conditions. Certain things have to be done in a certain time frame no excuses,or Canada simply takes back the company, and returns it to the previous owners.The chances are they willnot meet the time frames with weak excuses and blaming others. Canada wil have it back in short time and keep the money they threw at it.
