Radio Thailand News this morning mentioned that countdowns were scheduled around town and would be until wee hours. I would assume some low / high profile places would be open to bring in the new year. :o

Most good bars have a site and e-mail for your selected place. Send a stress mess.

Usually they let the bars stay open till 6am on NYE.

I realy prefer to have a kind of concert on that night!

Last year, I was in Sisaket for the New Year!

We realy had a good time there!

There is a poolside party along Chap Praya in Shangrila. And there will be fireworks that night. But dunno the ticket for it yet. hehe :o
